Jeff the Zombie is the co-host and creator of the long-running Television Zombies podcast, an irreverent weekly round table discussion of cult television shows such as Doctor Who, Lost, Battlestar Galactica and Supernatural, as well as co-host and producer of the stunningly successful video game podcast, Joint Ops Monthly: The Unofficial Modern Warfare 2 Podcast. In addition to his podcasting, Jeff works as a Web designer in Washington, D.C., is father to twin daughters and husband to designer and rampant tweeter Tina Seamonster. His favorite musical artists are the Mountain Goats and Andrew Bird.
Jeff is an avid gamer, whose recent favorites include Modern Warfare 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Halo 3, Borderlands and inFamous. He has been a member of several competitive clans over the years and is an active member of the XBOX Live community. Agnostic when it comes to platform, Jeff loves his XBOX 360 and PS3 equally.
A dedicated member of the Democratic party and a solid liberal, Jeff enjoys watching Washington political street fighting as much as he loves science fiction and video games. He is mostly pleased with the results of Barack Obama’s presidency, despite the haters on both sides of the aisle.
In past lives, Jeff was co-editor of the ‘zine Restaurant Fuel, released lo-fi and indie pop records on the mirco indie label Hub City Records and even worked for National Public Radio. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
As a cardiology and congestive heart failure patient, Jeff takes a lot of medication, eats a weird diet and sees a therapist. But the greatest therapy of all is his beagle, Charlie.
